Pineapple Rings

1. Beat together the eggs sugar and liquid. Mix in the flour, baking powder and mace.

2. Pat the pineapple rings dry, coat in the flour then dip in the batter.

3. Fry at 180°C (356 °F), 2 minutes, or until slightly golden brown.

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g sugar
  • 15 cl water or milk
  • 275 g flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground mace
  • 1 can pineapple rings, drained
  • Flour for dusting
