1- Place the chopped shallot, figs and guinea fowl breasts into the oval dish. Add salt and pepper.
2- Pour over the port and two tablespoons of water. Cover with perforated film.
3- Using the microwave function, cook for 10 minutes at 900 W or 12 minutes at 850 W depending on your oven.
4- Arrange the guinea fowl breasts and figs on the serving dish.
5- Whisk the butter into the cooking juices.
6- Sprinkle the sauce over the meat.
7- Serve immediately.
This original dish can be served with boiled, peeled broad beans. For that special touch: before cooking, lay a thin slice of bacon over your guinea fowl breasts.
