1- Put the chopped shallot, thinly sliced mushrooms, cod steaks and white wine into the buttered dish. Add salt and pepper and cover with perforated cling wrap.
2- Using the microwave function, cook for 5 minutes at 900 W or 6 minutes at 850 W, depending on your oven.
3- Remove the cod steaks.
4- Stir the corn flour into the cream and pour into the cooking juices, stirring continuously.
5- Put the cod steaks back into the dish and cook using the microwave function for 2 minutes at 300 W or 2 minutes at 300 W depending on your oven.
6- Serve very hot in the dish.
Serve with wild rice or fresh tagliatelli.
