1- Cut the tuna into large 3cm by 3cm cubes and place in the casserole dish. Add the oil, oregano, 8 basil leaves and the white wine. Add salt and pepper.

2- Mix together and refrigerate for an hour.

3- Add the peeled, crushed tomatoes to the casserole dish, along with the lemon juice and chopped garlic. Mix well.

4- Cover with perforated film and, using the microwave function, cook for 8 minutes at 900 W or 10 minutes at 850 W depending on your oven.

5- Check the seasoning. Serve with a sprinkling of finely chopped basil.

Serve with mashed potatoes drizzled with olive oil.

Ingredients
  • 600 g fresh tuna,
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil,
  • the juice of one lemon,
  • 1 teaspoon oregano,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 1/2 tin of peeled tomatoes,
  • 100ml white wine,
  • 1/2 bunch of basil,
  • salt, pepper. Utensils: 1 2 L Pyrex casserole dish, cling wrap suitable for microwave use.
