Deep-Fried Camembert

1- Beat the egg and add the milk. Mix in the parsley and the breadcrumbs.

2- Cut the camembert into 6 or 8 pieces. Roll the pieces in the flour, and then dip in the mixture. Cover with the breadcrumbs. (Make sure that you cover each piece completely with the breadcrumbs to prevent the cheese leaking out into the fryer).

3- Place the pieces in the fryer and fry at 190°C.

Hint: replace the Camembert with a firm Brie and serve with blueberry jam.

  • 1 whole, firm Camembert,
  • 1 egg,
  • 100ml milk,
  • 250 g breadcrumbs,
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley,
  • flour for the coating.
